Who Are We?

          We're the next generation of Leonard's giving you service with a Royal touch. 

Our history and experience in the dry cleaning business goes back decades. Growing up in L&P Cleaners we learned the tricks of the trade. Founders, Mr. Thuman Leonard and Mr. Wadell Parker instilled in us the importance of quality service, which we've now bestowed upon our children.

          L&P Cleaners was Later renamed P&L and relocated to Hampton ave on Jefferson ave. There we spent several years and expanded with P&L Laundry Mat on Aberdeen rd. After years of service, the city of Hampton VA served a notice, alerting us of the demolishing of the storefronts on Aberdeen rd. While saddened by the news, we saw it as an opportunity to return to the city and community we love and grew up in. 

Royal Dry Cleaners was then envision by Thurman R. Leonard(Son of Co-Founder Thurman Leonard) and the task was taken on with the help of two additional partners. Soon the vision was birthed and Royal Cleaners was opened and ready for business on 31st street and chestnut. We served in this location for some time before the partnership was dismantled.

          Founded in 2019, Nu Royal Dry Cleaners was established by the Leonard family. Not only could we again serve doing what we love to do but we could do it in our community. The vision of brother in laws (Leonard & Parker) is once again a reality. 

          Over the years, we’ve learned that great service begins and ends with humble and friendly professionals. We understand the value of a smile not just being seen but heard. We believe that our team is the best in the business, and have complete and total confidence in every person providing our customers with pleasant service.

          Nu Royal Dry Cleaners finishes each order on schedule and with the highest level of quality that we like to call a "Royal touch". We focus on personalized service, competitive rates, supporting our community, and above all customer satisfaction.
